Cozi-Live Binder-All classes-All teachers-Cozi is an amazing tool for homework assignments. The calender can keep you up to date on homework assignments and tests. Since there is the mobile app, you wont have to write down homework or tests on your planners any more. Also, the simplicity of the tool makes it fun. Anyone who isn't good with electronics can easily work the site. My mom is horrible with any types of electronics and she was able to work the site with ease. You could also send messages to other people and write on the to do list so everyone could see it. Since almost all of my binders are a mess, I could easily find what I'm looking for on the journal, where people can write notes from the lesson, chapter, or notes for the final exam. Cozi is a phenomenal site that could be used for a class or a family.

A Baby's Life Saved By the World's Smallest Artificial Heart
In March, Italian doctors were faced with a baby who would not live unless a real heart was ready for transplant. The doctors decided to give the baby a transplant once it was born. When it was born, they successfully gave the baby the world's smallest artificial heart. The device is a titanium pump weighing only 11 grams and that can endure a flow of up to 1.5 litres per minute. A few days later after the artificial heart was put in, a real donor heart was available, and now the baby is fine. This shows how much we've advanced in medical technology.

A Man With No Arms or Legs Can swim around the world
Philippe Croizon lost his arms and legs in a terrible accident 18 years ago. Since then, he has trained to become a world class athlete. This summer, the Frenchman is going to swim between every continent in the world. This isn't the first time Croizon has attempted to swim a huge distance. In 2010, at age 42, he swam the 21 miles across the English Channel in just 13 hours. Croizon's swim starts in May. He'll swim from Indonesia to Papua New Guinea. Then he'll swim across the Red Sea between Jordan and Egypt, and the Strait of Gibraltar between Africa and Europe. The final swim is a swim across the Bering Strait between America and Asia in August. This man can truly defy what handicapped people can do.

India Just Successfully Test Launched a Missile That Could Blow Up China
Yesterday, India successfully tested the Agni-V, a long-range missile capable of carrying a nuclear warhead. The missile has a range of over 3,000 miles and could reach Beijing or Shanghai, China. The Agni-V is 51 feet long, weighs nearly 50 tons, can reach an altitude of 430 miles, and cost around $480 million to develop. To me this could be a dangerous weapon used against China and even the United States.

Guns Can Make You Look Two Inches Taller
Dr. Daniel Fessler and a team from UCLA published what they found in the journal Public Library of Science. Then they conducted an experiment to see if the perceptions of size depended on what they were holding. Dr. Fessler had 628 volunteers to see if they looked bigger with guns. To test this, the people held many tools, and the hands almost identical. They held a handgun, drill, a calking gun, and and a handsaw. The people that held a handgun were slightly bigger that those that held other tools. This proves that people can be slightly taller when holding a gun.
